I made this image for the Master and Servant competition in CGSociety.
It was really challenging and interesting.

The story is about an explorer that becomes mad while he's lost in the ice and murders everything that turns up in order to eat. His mind someway make up a master wich commands him to kill, to justify his own terrible actions.
The master is represented inside the ice as a part of refraction/reflexion of his mind.
